Last night I had the opportunity to work again with the staff of Truly Yours Catering out of Hollywood. We did a wedding/reception for about 150 guest at an incredible private home in Summerland. Last night was the first time that I ever had to make phony drinks in order to follow the wishes of the brides mother. Kamikaze was the word of the evening for many of the younger guests. Cosmos and Dirty Martini's were favorites of the older crowd. It was a good party.
The event was outside in the backyard with a phenomenal ocean view where there was an amazing Koi pond. The Koi were as big as some of the bass I've caught in Mammoth. The natural rock pathways were difficult for some of the women to navigate in heels, but the atomosphere was romantic. Again Truly Yours did an incredible job on the food. The Halibut was the best I've had.
I am looking forward to another opportunity to work with Chris and Zeek, who is the bartender manager, on more events in the future.
